Crescent Kitchen, an Edinburgh based catering social enterprise, has entered into a partnership agreement with Sir Robert McAlpine to manage a catering facility on the site of the expanded Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) and associated Grade A office development until December 2012.

Our local Asda store at Chesser in Edinburgh has donated £19,500 to fund an extension to our existing kitchen within The Broomhouse Centre.  This new extension will mean we now have a designated space to prepare our outside catering and expand the service, while giving more space in the kitchen to allow for more training.

The Broomhouse Centre’s new social enterprise Crescent Kitchen was opened by the Rt Hon Alistair Darling MP.  As well as a refurbished café providing tasty and value for money food, the Crescent Kitchen will also deliver outside catering, team building days and training.
